About Book Author
Hello! I am Chelda Ruff
Welcome to my page! My career as an educator spans 55 years as a lifelong learner, with teaching and administrative roles from Pre-School to University. My academic journey includes a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University, a Master’s in Mathematics Education from San Francisco State University, and a Master’s in Education Administration from UC Berkeley which is a precursor to a Doctorate degree in Communication and Literacy.
Writing has been my passion for decades, serving as both a creative outlet and a source of peace. I collaborated on a project entitled Brain Power: A Journey to Wellness, a calendar planning journal. I began writing poetry in response to the WRC’s intriguing prompts, using words to navigate life’s challenges. My soon to be published works include Bubbles on the Move, a children’s book developed during the pandemic, and The Wonders of Creation that Led to My Salvation, also an upcoming release. I enjoy traveling to witness the evidence of creation especially via sunrises and sunsets. When I'm not writing, I focus on developing activities for individuals with Aphasia and empowering adults with literacy tutoring.
As the Advisory Chair of WRC, I warmly invite you to join our Write On! meetings held on the second Saturday of every month, where we explore the paths to publishing and share our passion for poetry and storytelling.
